Deafening, groundbreaking.
Silence beneath the trees,
the moon,
Stars.
All of time and space
Yet-
Silence.
Silence for humans
Their ephemeral fugacious lives.
Nothing beneath the silence.
Lives merely a penumbra,
beneath the silence.
The silence of the infinite.
For though we humans are mere scintilla,
Beneath the eternal silence.
