Teacher, Teacher....Why do you do this?

Why the detachments?

Why let your emotions affect how you teach?

Don’t let our grades affect us,

Just ‘cause your feeling down, down, down.

Be formal,

Yet personal,

But don’t be a stranger,

Don’t let your emotions get in the way of our GPA.

Why the detentions?

Just cause we are saying legitimate answers.

We’re just tryin’ to prove a point.

So, don’t go blamin’ on us.

Why won’t you do anything?

Letting us suffer, suffer, suffer.

Making us feel all down, down, down.

Omissions are just as bad as bullyin’.

Don’t say ‘cause I don’t hear it.

Means it is not happening.

‘Cause it is real.

No matter what you think is true.

So, listen to what I have to say.

Listen to the students' complaints.

Don’t just sit there and say,

“Everything is fine.”

Take a stand.

Do what’s right.

Don’t just sit there.

Be an advocate who speak what’s right.
