(poems go here) We treat them like holiday shrines. Decorate with sentiment, place gifts at their feet, then throw them out when the seasons change. What a waste; shows how the human has become all garnish, no substance. Thank you for living in my house for two weeks. I’m sorry we couldn’t keep you longer.
