Amongst a crowd of people,

I am always the one furthest from reaching the sky.

In other words, I am short.

Petite.

Vertically challenged.

Believe me,

the list of words to describe shortness is incredibly long.

My life is a story filled with clothes too big and shelves too high,

and I've already said goodbye to any potential modeling career.

But although I am short,

my opinions are just as tall as everyone else's.

And that is why I love poetry.

It is a reminder that the smallest can be the loudest.

It is proof that only a few words are enough to make a difference.
