Shore, Receive My Broken Tides

Location

Slowly loosening hold of the reins
Unraveling this uptight frame
No external agent of change
Peace sprouts from within
Though I feel you like a leper
The touch breaking my skin
It is yet my pleasure
To feel your peace again
Great tides of wondrous galore
Flow silently through me 'til they reach the calmness of the shore
I've wasted the stillness
Impeded precious silence
Rejected your essence
Squashed the still, small voice
You traversed the distance
Neglected my ignorance
Dissolved my aggression
Just to offer your peace
In this new dimension
There is only You
And your ocean of peace
It is there that I sink
