Day to night we all do change. Some may find this very strange. As a child wakes in bed, her long blonde hair atop her head. She dreamed of yesterdays played games and now she has brand new claims, to be a queen of many names. This is now her very own aim. First a rock star, then a teacher, now noone can reach her. Head in the clouds and stars in her eyes, she can almost touch the skies. Playground time has passed her by but she is not one to cry, for she has plans to learn to fly. All she has to do is try. Not a child and not full grown. She has yet to be on her own. Parents wave to say good bye, their child gone in the blink of an eye. A yellow train takes her away, only to come back later that day. Adventure around every turn. So many things she has yet to learn. Animals crackers and juicey-juice, before lunch snack has been reduced. New people met and friendships made, this is something that will never fade.
Toys replaced with books and shoes. She now has her own personal views. Make up, hair, and something cute to wear, not a second left to spare. Running from here to there, always going somewhere. Lessons learned and paths been chosen. She cannot be stopped or ever frozen. Dreams have come to test this girl, her time passed in a whirl. With determination and dedication, she has no hesitation. Shadows and faces ever looming. Everyone is so assumming...that she will be what they say but she will find her own way.
Hail the sun to greet the light, do this to reach new height. Find your reasons for this fight and hold on tight with all your might. Time is short and this is now, so its time to live out loud. Catch your dreams and blaze a trail. Do this and you'll never fail.
