She feels different

She feels different
But not literally
Since she lives about two THOUSAND miles away
And yet
She's taken my heart
She's weaved it in her red-orange hair
And I see it shine in her warm brown eyes
And I hear it lul in her lightly accented voice

And I feel
Different
About her

It doesn't feel wildly raging like a fire
That I know I've felt before
It feels warm
An comfortable

I can't help but feel hesitant and fear that maybe I don't care for her fervently enough
That maybe
We're doomed

It's a morbid thought to think during the light growth of a new relationship but.
I know that
I love her

And it's different
It's not the angry sharp impossible to understand love I've had in the past
This is soft
And slow

And different
Like her
I know she is special
Unique
I can feel it
I can tell
That she is different like me

That she wasn't built to live on the ground

She feels different
Because our relationship is not based
On our differences
I worship her yes, but she isn't a goddess
She feels different
And I feel
Okay
