SHE CAME BACK

last night might have been the best night i've had since we last met,

you came to me and told me you're done playing hard to get,

so i brought you over to my place and played your favourite song,

whats funny is that the words were all wrong,

so i put the radio off and sat you down,

told you how grateful i was now that once again you were my queen,

best believe that you fit the crown.

i loved how you stared back at me smilling, telling me how your day has been

and thats not even the best part, i loved how the theme changed from being a

girl in blue jeans to being the girl in a hoodie colored in green.

i loved how your hands softened the strains in my palms when i held 'em

how the grabed my sorrows away when i kissed 'em,

i loved how sansational life felt in your presence i'd swon heaven existed,

and that i was gifted, with you by my side a clear vission of life i saw flaws and

we fixed 'em.

and just as i leaned towards you holding my breath taken away by the fragrence

from your neck, my eyes opened.

and you were gone, leaving behind a series of mysteries, i felt my heart breaking

how could it all be just a dream...

they say the heart wants what it wants but they never told us than it never gets it,

so if you're reading this poem...just know that i miss you,

and i dont mean for you to miss me too, i just can't hide it.

you always told me to be hopeful and have faith would i be wrong for holding

on to you,

would you despise me for having faith in some day where a miracle might happed,

not that i believved in them but with you i would,

if true love exists than trust me its me and you.
