She always keeps her sunglasses on so that you cant see the emotion underneath.
She always wears her lipstick dark to distract you from the secrets shes trying to keep.
and she always wears her high heels so high just to make sure she doesn't feel the dead bodies beneath her feet.
She walks alone, no set path in mind
Just hoping to someday kill enough time
to maybe get older
to maybe forget
All the ones she should have never loved
All the things she has done that she knows she will soon regret
too scared to take anymore chances
too scared to open up
too hopeless of a romantic
and too young to wise up
to trust is in her nature
and to be deceived has always been her curse
to try
and try
and try
again and still get nothing in return
except for that familiar pain
that empty space
and the hate filled stares
she continues to destroy herself because she truly believes that will ever care
she will let you abuse her because she is just too numb
but one day this girl will wake up and breathe in the sun
