SHADOWS and FORM

While in the deepest, sunless sea,

Change comes slowly.

Shadows and forms,

Contain all the information we need.

Repudiate all that is false; I said,

For love itself must have a rest.

Be youthful cynics.

We have done this too many times.

All things considered,

Apparently,

To lose someone,

Before you can show them,

Your love;

Hurts.
