Sex Without Love (After Sharon Olds)

I don’t want to be loved. I want to be the very thing in your core

To make supernova from your body.

Radiate the entire sky while we both see white
I’ll watch your body shake making mess on the galaxy we find leisure on

Water spots coloring against the sky with rain we made
through lust and not through love but all from lust we made love

And made night fall forward today

Waking up to each other’s embraces…

How two souls hug is when two bodies mesh together
like puzzle pieces

Mapping out the constellations in calligraphy text

That we would outline on our skin that trace where love begins

Never ending

Always making

Never being…

I don’t want to be loved

But to make my body a bridge for your soul to escape from

Dancing on the sky we’ve made art from what came from us

Flashing lights to white
Water running and splashing…

Make it with me…
