The Setting of a Death

The waves crash

The sullen air makes it suffocating to breath

The heavy clouds carry the dense depression of the town

A woman sobbing in the corner

Yellow tape covering jagged rocks at the end of a cliff

Policeman conversing with a hysterical mother screaming at the sobbing women

“It wasn’t me!” cries the woman

Blood splattered over her clothes, hands drenched in blood from the corpse of her lover

Now covered in a white plastic covering

Only a hand sticks out

On it a note
