Set the Stage

Location

I draw breath in pain to tell my story.
No dear friend Horatio to add glory.
The curtain is now drawn.
The players are on.
A jester appears giddy and merry.
Pratfalls, and pies make the audience laugh.
In the backdrop his life is quite the contrary.
Tears streaming down his cheeks, life has been hard.
He needs to be seen as the man with all the cards.
In his mind it's better to die better to sleep.
In that sleep of death what dreams may come?
Dreams better than this nightmare.
I'm just another actor in a play.
I'm just another fool on the stage.
Absent thee from felicity a while,
And please pay mind to the man behind the curtain.
