The sinuous coils of the snakes,
Clad in their lustrous mail,
Across the dunes they undulate,
The marks of bodies scaled
Scream of a thirst not slaked
For another chapter in their tale,

To see it heave, like the frothing back
Of some great Leviathan, breaching the waves,
Its maw held under by the ocean's grasp,
An abyss yawning to consume more than itself,
Like Ouroboros, swallowed in a single gasp
To shake the arid steppes and ocean shelves,
To become a towering giant in the minds of men,
A Behemoth, so grand that memory cannot comprehend
The fullness of majesty, like Jormungard and lost Eden
To last forever, to live beyond space, and time, and all life's end.
To slough the skin, and be reborn as those who did ascend.
