Serenity with Resentment Vol. 1

Despondency; determined self destruction.

Decriminalization; had it struck his body, it’d hit his heart.

Omnipotent; what a bleeding heart joke.

Misanthropy; blood drooling from his mouth, excruciating tears of joy.

Ethereal; the realest of highs and salvation; gold.

Coup de grâce; merci. Mercy.

Death’s knocking.

No.

Not that kind, the grim reaper.

He wished to commit robbery,

And leave his victim at the bottom of the stairs.

Was it to be only fate; accepting being cut down,

Down like a tree?

Rejected wish, offered the reaper a deal.

My freedom, take his role.

His freedom, eager to be.

What a fool, got exactly what I wanted.

Despondency.

A different man.

Different time.

Tell me, who weeps for them?

Who weeps: child who dreamt and dreamt,

Kept on dreaming until the realization that this world;

Meant for those who could rise against the monsters.

The monsters seen in dreams, then in the water, then in the crowd?

Child knows monsters are everywhere.

Child enjoys their demises.

But how gentle, oh how gentle

A soft touch.

Once chasing dragons living in the air.

Once upon a time the end was the wish.

Not one could’ve stopped him if they wanted to.

How glorious.

How despicable.

Decriminalization.

Now, crowning yet to be.

Took ill.

Walked that brick road stained with red and salt.

Seen the worst spirits in the carpet of the room.

How much treason is too much treason?

And just like that, child was the monster.

The beast; vampire.

And like vampires, seen no reflection.

Terrified the heartless protagonist.

Not so black and white anymore, is it?

Now, with ghosts haunting, entirely unraveling

Personal hell.

What a wasteland.

Omnipotent.

Hollow titanium. Apocalypse.

Second-hand smoke & second-hand demons.

Come with me, let’s take a stroll.

A walk through the misguided misfortune.

With the war oozing out his veins, honey came after.

But who was there to see that?

A familiar faceless face

Pointed at the black hole in the sky.

Look up at the moon, it’s crashing down.

Eternal blissful truth, but anguish.

Purely, in that very moment,

Everything sucked into the black hole.

The future was sought, like a flash of lightning.

For not even a second, the former reaper, smiling at him.
