Separate

Hebrews 4:12 for The Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Separate

Kissing the Eternal with the temporal in my bones

How can sincerity flourish?

Part of me is hungry and part of me well-fed

Part of me full and part undernourished

The part that’s fat and sassy seems to want more

The other part at peace wishing more than before

The first is so brutal, so selfish and a really a bore

The other just the opposite forgiving to adore

Easy to see who’ll survive and who ain’t worth the living

It’s not a mystery anymore who hates and who’s forgiven

One loves turmoil the other serene, one is here the other has been

The 1st will taste the bitter as the 2nd will live a dream
