For The One Whose Name Is My Home

Separation
Each wondering
"Will I see you again?"

My hands shake
My heart silently
Ripping apart
Again and
Again

Separation
Each wondering
"Will I see you again?"

I nod and smile
Because missing you
Is the tragic end
To a story just beginning

It's the page of a book
The one with all the answers
Torn apart
Scattered to winds

Promises to stay
Heart to heart
My eyes memorizing
The lines of your face

Separation
Each wondering
"Will I see you again?"

My stomach tightens
Whirling emotions and
Falling feelings
Falling

Slow steps that lead away
I just met you
Right?
Or are you a part of me
That I never knew

"Will I see you again?"
