Picture a place overlooking the elaborate skies and vast land

When light transforms to dark, the moonlit skies become inspirational

The sun rises and portrays the vision of adoration through the clouds

This place may be a mountain, an extensive climb to the top, followed by a steep and breath-taking drop, consummate with foliage, tasteful and true

Descend down the mountain, new beginning flashes by,

The wind becomes lyrical, it’s message, so factual,

I wouldn’t be thinking about this special place if I didn’t know you, and then I think intensely…

 

My special place is where you are,

Beneath the trees, gazing up at the stars,

Beautiful frondescence, falling softly to Earth

Moonlit sky continues to glow, as we talk about life’s hurt,

Then once again, to my surprise, there’s that sparkle in your eyes,

That perfect smile and strong, tight grasp, promising me,

A sentimental beginning…that is sure to last
