As you boil up in the depth of my crucible
Glimpses of past memories go by
Your touch can't taint them when you try
The sound of the thump becomes clearer
You race to the sound reaching the source
Only to find what you truly remorse
A reflection the brings you terror
Wishing that it was a symptomatic error
You touch the source and it fails to be affected
You sought what was thought to be lost
