Self Reassurance

I can write a million poems

And none of them be as beautiful as you.

I can have a thousand friends

And none of them will mean the same as you.

You can make smile with just your words

But I stayed tongue tied.

When you smile, you make the room turn to you

Your beauty, oh my dear, your beauty.

It leaves me in a daze.

Those exes took a loss for losing you.

Those people are wicked for using you.

You are much more than a voluptuous black female.

You are human being with an amazing heart

And a beautiful mind as well as soul.

When you smile, you make the room turn to you

Your beauty, oh my dear, your beauty.

It leaves me in a daze.

You are a queen.

Never forget that.

I will never let you forget that.

I will remind you

I will remind you just how much you matter.
