Self Love

Thu, 05/30/2024 - 18:30 -- ililley

wrinkles, pores, stretch marks,

we pick at these miniscule parts of our selves

with what we expect people whose opinions we care about will say

but the people we care about,

when they get close enough to see it,

our partner, child, pet

they aren't thinking about miniscule topics like zits or unplucked hairs

theyre thinking how happy they are to be in the presence of the one they love and are loved by

the wrinkles wont hinder your smile

the pores wont steal your laughter

the stretch marks wont restrict your ability to be kind

you are undeniably you

why don't you try loving your self, too?
