Self-Identified

Location

I stare into the reflection on the mirror.

It’s me, no one else.

That girl is confident and free

Fills the space of silence with her voice;

she’s loud and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Laughs at fear, she’s unafraid.

But outside these doors I’m not sure who she is.

That fear inside is her worst enemy.

Out there awaits a world of deception.

No acceptance for difference. So much to take in…

Breathe.

It’s ok.

You see yourself? A unique being, no one else like you.

 Don’t hide anymore, just get out there and show them because you know who you are.
