Seeing You The Other Day

Mon, 01/18/2016 - 03:48 -- jerlee

Sitting down and staring into the open space with your earbuds in

The smile as I walked past, was like a firework exploding

Glad I said hi, although you may didn’t hear me

Those eye’s and smile you gave me was all I need to warm up inside my cold heart

It was like I have just meet you for the first time

With the lights shining down like stars, it was almost magical

The moment felt like an eternity, for what I have created in my heart

For what I have wished for was a dreadful idea

I know now to thought how much the time has already gone by

In a blink of an eye I have already missed those smiles

Those laugh, those graceful things that you do

However, it doesn’t matter no more

With the one sided love and a secret to be kept by me

It was all worth it to bleed

To tear my happiness, so I let you free from my gasp

My days could have been as bright as a light

However, I chose to distance and walk away with lingering hope where darkness consumed

Because it seems in this lifetime our fate was not connected between us two

So I kept this as a story for me to only tell as a secret, for I have made you scared
