The sea kings lair

Each stroke I take

My cupped hands

My arms quake

As I travel farther from the sands

Every thirty seconds

Surfacing for air

Thinking about the legends

Of the sea kings golden lair

A story of old

About a war and a plunder

The deep waters cold

The sky filled with thunder

A flood of  sea creatures

That was said to be misguided

A sea full of angered anglers

And a sharpened trident

The reason for this was love

As the king's heart was torn from him

By another more handsome dove

Which caused this great war

And the stormy oceans ahead

Ending in a brutal scar

On the king's enemies head

Alas I have sunk far below

To seek his great treasure

With his once hidden arrow

A key to all pleasure

That unlocked the front gates

Of the sea kings lair
