The Sea

Location

Unlike some people, I dislike the sea.

The water transcends from clear to pitch black,

And it never seemed interesting to me,

Yet the visions of sunsets draw me back,

With smooth sand that wraps around my toes,

Roars of waves clashing are not far away,

And how calm my conscious gets, no one knows,

With relaxing muscles yearning to stay.

Though the ocean has no interest to me,

It clears my conscience, giving an escape,

Giving it an admiration I see:

The sea inspires new thoughts and my fate.

Though I have no interest for the dark sea,

It helps me figure out how to be me.
