Saviors Need Saving Too (Part 3)

Our family became closer than ever before....

Or so I thought; Dad turned to alcohol and heavy drugs.

He became a monster, making promises he couldn't keep.

Actions.....That he could not take back.

Scars.....he could not erase.

"I promise I won't leave you and your mother. You both are my loves."

Mom put him out, for staying out days at a time; he left and had a new family.

I marked my flesh, and bruised my soul,

Looking for empty approval in temporary care trolls.

Years of mistakes and waisted time,

Finally accepted my lessons and healing what's mine.

Mom and Sister (God rest her soul) both loved me and taught me well;

The truth can be ugly and freeing, but it can also be beautiful if you wish to excell.
