Saving Me
Location
I was fading into the blackness of insanity
Slipping away from reality into my own fiction
Bleeding was my safe haven from the tortures of mankind
As the shadows threatened to take me away
There was no link to the world of the living
That was not bound in thorns or blades
No hand to reach through the fog of hysteria
Succumbing to weakness was my only escape
Your voice was a melody so soft and sweet
Rescuing me from the dark prison that was myself
Teaching me to survive without pain
Saving me from this perpetual hell
