A Satire

Satire, they say.

Making fun of a generation

Satire exposing the flaws in the various systems that make up the heartbeat of our planet

The pulse is poisoned

The blood is toxic

Fraud.

Lies.

It’s all satire, they say

Sarcastic, yes

A joke, yes

Funny, maybe.

True?

Yes.

Despite the punchlines and the laughs

The comedians have a point

There are problems in our world

That make for great tips at comedy joints

They’re right about the corruption

They’re right about the death

They’re right about the heartbreak

They’re right about the situation’s depth.

Sarcastic, yes

A joke, yes.

Funny, maybe.

True?

Yes.
