Philippians 4:7 New English Translation (NET Bible)

And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

"Peace on earth. Goodwill to man."

Most are asleep in their given shelter

The day is still hiding in now and then

Before bringing down the helter-skelter.

A world of dreams now rules the time

so be prepared  for total darkness

All children rest in the arms of Thine

The One, Who created all the righteous

What happened to true serenity?

Who broke the strands woven in peace?

Who imported confusing animosity,

and stuffed warm hearts into a freeze?

Why the change of perfection?

Why the sorrows and the griefs?

Who instigated dissatisfaction?

And made a world of make-belief

Many questions and a few answers

Everyone addicted to their opinion

Me and you, like risky dancers

On a rope called: "continuum."

Down below a bottomless awaiting pit

where rest is far beyond any sound

But that is not the end of it

as some stumble Heaven-bound

The tie that binds us together

keeps us from falling down

Now that nothing at all matters

being molded for Holy Ground

It is available for everyone.

Who listens to the voice of The One?

He, Who prepares the morning sun

For all to grow before the day is gone
