Same Ol' Thing

That yearning for a change that will never be fulfilled
That feeling of being stuck and there is no answer that’s real
More a fantasy or a blind hope
Is this ever going to change? Ha Ha nope.

Because in your position you have no choice but to comply
Even though you’re right and the person knows it, but you dare not ask why
Why do they choose to make excuses, blaming you like you’re going to agree or buy it?
Bring excuses that are in the past trying to justify a problem in the present

They say it’s you, fix the problems.
Then tell me what they are so I can solve them
This must be a test from God but I feel I’m going to fail
I know the answer, one that should avail

I want to run from this problem but it won’t solve anything.
It seems it’s only an answer that time will hopefully, maybe, perhaps, bring.
And don’t tell me to talk about it because my breath is wasted, that’s not new or strange.
Wasted on explaining when I should use it on a fervent prayer of change.

Patience is a virtue something I constantly reminded of
My change will come but now I’m always using the wisdom, peace, and understanding sent from above.
