Sail Away

Location

Anchors aweigh sir, pray, sail away.

Those of Courage and Might this ship will stow.

The sea calls out good sir - I must obey!

Let us leave land, rock, sand, this very bay

To follow lead, follow suit of our Master Bow.

Anchors aweigh sir, pray, sail away.

The rocky crags displayed betrays

The dangerous adventures lying in wait of those who go

But the sea calls out, good sir - I must obey.

Waves strong and high cause the ship to sway.

The men dare not leave now, yet as the ship bobs to and fro

I beg anchors aweigh sir, pray, sail away.

Breathe in its scent, embrace the ocean's spray.

Close your eyes, Listen! And you will know

Why the sea calls out, good sir - why I must obey.

So no longer tarry, no longer delay.

My heart, ever-longing, my words I shall echo,

"Anchors aweigh sir, pray, sail away.

The sea calls out, good sir - I must obey."
