Sadie - Something I Cannot Live Without

Thu, 03/17/2016 - 14:58 -- eweber

Although she can be crazy

Sometimes even lazy,

I love her even more each day.

She makes me laugh every time I see her

With hair as soft as fur.

I cannot live without her.

Although sooner or later she will be gone,

I don’t like to think of a day where we won’t have fun.

I’ll miss her when she goes,

But right now I know she knows

That I love her with all my heart

Like a father loves a daughter

Or a mother with her son.

I need her in my life

To tell her about my day,

And have her not judge one word I say,

Not because she even can reply,

Since she is a canine.
