Running

Mon, 07/13/2015 - 13:19 -- MHIX

As I put on the shoes

As I go out side

As I feel the air against my face

As I feel my lungs burn

As I pass the five mile mark

As I refuse to take a break

As I laugh at my pain

As I pray that it will soon go away

As I stop at the finish line

As I wish that I could run more

All I can do is run to the next day.

And hope that tomorrow can be just like today.

I love running.
