He keep trynna take me out of my situation 
He keeps telling me that things will change if i just pray to him 
Like he can take me out of my troubles when in faith in him 
He said no matter how far I've fallen, he can whip me back into shape again 
And he can fix it with just one fling of his rubber band 
He'll take a man with no worth and make him the richest man 
And he can take a man who had worth and make him powerless 
He can make my pain be the past, make my heart have love again 
He said my futures very bright and I'll bestow it if i lean on him 
He said there's alot of people who are weary and turned their back on him 
And he waits patiently for all who truly love him and wanna meet again 
How he cries for the lost souls who do not understand 
This keeper of the rubber band 
Who holds the power for the weak 
Who makes the blind man see again 
He said that at the end of days wrong will become right 
in the eyes of men 
So dont you take your sight off him
