Once upon a time

Before you or me

There was a young girl

Who lived in the sea

Although she had

A voice like no other

When she sang

She sounded just like her mother

The girl had all she could ever desire

But when she looked beyond the waves 

There was a boat on fire

She swam towards the light

When she saw the man drowning

He was unconscious but 

He seemed to be frowning

Once she brought him to land

And was layed on the sand 

She took a deep breath

And held his hand

When he had woken 

He gazed across the water

Unclear

If he had really even saw her

But she was long gone

And his heart a bit broken

She had stolen his wallet

Her new favorite token
