Let me catch my breath,

I don't feel so good

my heart is getting heavy

and my judgement is weak.

I don't want to do this anymore

I'm getting dizzy

and my head is very sore.

I feel like I'm on this ride alone.

My mind is telling me to

"GET OFF!", but I can't!

But then I hear a voice

that makes such bold statments,

"You're not alone", "You're my best friend",

"I love you".

Once this ride starts to crank up again

I realize something, that I never was on this

ride alone. I just couldn't keep my eyes open

long enough to see it.

So I'm ready for the ups and downs.

Bring on the circular round and rounds. Hell

even add a few zig-zags and backflips now and then.

For what I just described wasn't an actual rollercoaster ride,

but the test of a TRUE friend.
