The Right Way

you all remember that day
when the one we love walked away
nothing would be right again

you stare at a wall and cry
you lock the door, close the blinds
remember that it all gets better with time

to be alive isn't to live
one day we will all die
but don't die too early on the inside

she asks him to open up his eyes
see her words, read between the lines
he's not listing, tears glistening

he sees someone else behind her eyes
he sees no truth only lies
moving on, he's moving on

together with one voice
they screamed, their joined hears were torn
oh angel fallen angel

for me to find the right way up
I had to fall right down
I have to suffer to turn
it all around

A couple words of advice
it will be alright
you must enter the dark
to reach the light

because for the first time I can say
I am proud to be this way
I have no need for you
The hell you put me through

no longer can you take
all my happiness away
because I know who I am
I suffered the trials of the damned

and you're forever and alone
your stares are stone cold
pity for you I hold
because I've been there before

for me to find the right way up
I had to fall right down
I had to suffer to turn it
all around

A couple words of advice
it will be alright
you have to go though the dark
to enter the light
