RI

When presented with the opportunity

To go up or down

I will choose down and regret it later

Now am outfitted in a creme colored shirt

With red orange and yellow stripes

But most powerful

A dark blue shade

And I wonder about the times I have exposed myself to lovers

My body sometimes makes sense

In those moments

As if my sunset colored shirt

Could place my carcass in a time period

Where my self esteem runs parallel with

My desire to photograph girls

in the summertime on a sail boat

with blue and green drinks

Held by their sparkly nails

Elvis asks are you lonesome tonight

And too much of time time I say yes

And when I say no it’s not always

In a peaceful tone

We should love each other more and

Stop each other from crying

And painting the bathroom

Except by crying I mean sadly thinking

And by we I mean me and me

And when a cameras flash makes

My vision lack in the center

I have never minded

Not even once

because the Feeling that certain images have given me

Isn’t something I can live without

So I’m sending love from Rhode Island

And I want to see an end to the rain
