Reverse: A Death of Grandma
Location
December 28, 2009.
She lay in the hospital bed.
Cold and lifeless.
When just three days ago.
She was joyous and bright.
Those last few days she said good-bye.
How’d she know?
Two weeks before she we was planning my graduation trip to see me.
Those were the days.
Two years ago.
She was happy.
At peace with herself and the world.
To go back four more years is where I wanna be.
When I was still seeing you every weekend.
When living life was the only option.
When you promise to see me graduate was number one on the checklist.
That was the focus.
One year before those four.
There was a fight.
It shouldn’t have happened.
But let’s stay at these four years.
Just to keep us happy.

Your poem expresses heartfelt words of sadness. I felt a powerful connection between you and your grandmother. In regards to your poem's structure, your line-breaks are breautiful; so keep that up. Your poem's content brought forth the topic of time, which I thought was interesting. The want and need to go back in time is what anyone would want during such an arduous moment in life. Beautiful poem and please keep writing!!!!!!
