Rest In Peace

Across the grove of sacred trees
Lay a grave named rest in peace.
It holds a body more grotesque than all
Yet her mind was strong and tall.
Bugs may come and give her back to earth
But that doesn't make her of any less worth.
She is still beautiful, brave and kind
And loves the Lord with her heart and mind,
Singing his praises all day long.
Her life was a truly beautiful song.
Humbly now she is in the earth
Knowing fully her own divine worth.
Across the grove of sacred trees
Lay a grave named rest in peace.
