Rest

Lay my head down,

Exhausted,

Close my eyes,

Not sorted.

Open again,

Nearly midnight now,

Wired again,

This is bringing me down.

Can't switch off,

Internal chatter,

Too hot in this loft,

Ignore it, doesn't matter.

Finally,

Sleep comes to me,

Fall into dream mode,

Happily.

Sub-conscious is calling,

Wide awake inside you,

Sub-conscious is mauling,

Issues ignored by you.

Violence a plenty,

Inside this head,

Loads of  images,

To murder him instead.

Can't be me,

Has to be you,

These are your dreams,

Something is telling you.

What is it my mind,

Is telling you,

Something needs to be expressed,

From deep within you,

Lonely in bed,

Alone in my head,

Need to attach,

With another instead.

Time goes by,

Something is changing,

Time goes by,

Two people holding.

Comfort in skin,

As we embrace,

Comfort for him,

As she breaths on his face.

Security,

Is what I get from thee,

Love and support,

Is what I ignored for me.

Fall into dream state,

Once more,

Passion is calling,

Hardcore.

Sleep is deep,

Mariana trench deep,

I begin to speak,

You make me feel complete.

Fall for you,

Look at us two,

Making me feel,

Like I want to stay with you.

Didn't think,

It would be this way,

Didn't think,

You could find me, no way.

Now I can live life once more,

Knowing you settled,

The demons,

To the core.

Happy to live my life with you,

Happy knowing we can laugh,

Smile and sleep,

All the way through.
