Die to the self?

Surely not,

I wish to will

I am an intellectual

Outward looking, me?

Too much of my life to see.

No compromise to be.

Pour myself out?

Comfort zones shout:

Willed too hard to get here!

Alas, I refuse to die.

My best life to deny.

Here,

I don’t fear.

Rather, hereafter, eternal death.

Now,

My will prevails in every breath.
