Resistance

Take off your armor you are not going to battle.

No arrows nor sword will try to pierce your skin.

Put on your nightgown now with its soft fabric to cover you.

Wipe away your war paint this fight is not for you.

Those colors on your skin mean nothing.

Wash them away with your sins.

Put that fire out now.

Those things are not yours to burn.

The fake resistance found here is meaningless.

Stop screaming now.

Those words of anger are not for you.

Leave them to those this fight belongs to.

You may cry now Love.

Those tears are all your own.

For your remorse on this day shows clearly on your face.
