Remembering You
I see you and smile as we say our goodbyes
Completely unaware of your ultimate demise
Now everything reminds me of you
From skin, to eyes, to some ones perfume
Silence is my reality, but your memory consumes my mentality
Why did you leave me so alone?
So prone to the things in my dome
My insanity without you is indefinite, so to hell with it
When you left you took half my mind, heart, and soul
Without you I’m just not whole
So here I lay my burdens down
And try not to drown in my tears that reveal the source of my fears
Which is remembering you
