I write to sooth my soul 

it is the pole 

that keep me standing 

keeps me from crash landing 

when I'm feeling blue 

or ecstatic 

I press my pen to paper 

and write down my true 

feelings about life 

It's a release other than prayer 

something that I can bare 

I feel on top and no one can tell me 

that I am wrong 

Writing is my own creation 

not my segrigation 

this world can be mighty cruel 

and make you feel like a mule 

just remember you're not crazy 

those who don't want to see the truth are just lazy

When you press the pen to paper 

you become the designer of your show, 

the leader of the pack, 

and you can take yourself to the highest mountain or deepest 

part of the ocean 

writing is a release 

dont decrease or cease 

everyone is different and beautiful 

dont let people make you feel like a fool 

never give up and keep writing away 

dont stray 

it might pay
