Reflection

How happy does she look

Smiling from ear to ear

Dancing like her feet caught on fire

Until

Down, down, down into the darkness of the depression,

Gently she goes - getting gloomy, and jittery the anxiety takes over

The depiction of what’s really shattered starts to appear

As everyone starts to disappear

She is faced with the mirror.

The object she hates the most

The tarnished, distant mirror.

As she continues to stare at her reflection

Down, down, down into the darkness of the depression,

Gently she goes - more broken, more tattered

Her look is getting more frightful as time passes

Down, down, down into the darkness of self hatred

Gently she goes

She cannot help but stare at the

mirror

The reflection she sees is a shadow.

The reflection is as pale as she started to look

The mirror is monochromatic, however
