Reflection

A looking glass of proportionate qualities,

records time as life drifts by,

as things fall apart, ripped at the seams,

scattered, broken pieces upon the ground,

smashed and if but a dream,

still, unlike ripples across a clouded surface,

show nor amount to nothing significant

at all.
