Recipe for Realization

Begin with one boy, one girl, and curiosity seasoned to taste.
Stir in a large helping of concentrated Relationship, three dashes of risk, and a pinch of insecurity.
Swirl the mixture into a confusing and bewildering display of disheveled components.
Bring to a roaring boil of discoveries and excitement, and then simmer, watching for the fragile ring of crystalline cassonade that will accumulate along the edges.
Strengthen the mixture with spirit from strangled trust and the essence of honesty.
When it reaches the consistency of a soft, tender blush, add finally the fluttering pulse of heartbeat and a handful of butterflies.
Wait for the memories to set and wait some more.
One final ingredient.
A single drop of admiration that will grow and expand into something much greater.
Girl meets Boy, taste.
Boy plots to steal Heart, taste.
Fall into a gloriously laid out trap together, taste.
Only when it tastes of comfort and familiarity, and there is no more fear or worry preventing it from swelling, then you will know for sure, you are done.
Turn off the heat, realization has been acquired.
