Receive This

We personify lose-lose situations.

The kind that bend you backwards

and ask you whether you prefer

to move forward

and gain greed,

or simply lose yourself

to generate synthetic grins

for those who would not do the same

for you.

Like a corn maze,

we fret through life believing

that the only way of finding the exit

is by stressing and grieving,

attempting to find solace and give

and never receive.

Recieve this.

Do not bend backwards for those

who ask you only for self benefit.

Do not believe that you are only here

because society chose

to make you a slave of their creation.

Bend down to tie your shoe,

pave a maze of your imagination.

This is the way to

a bliss sensation.
