Reasons in the Seasons

How I've tried so many,
To put my love inside a letter.
And I think I've found a way,
For you to understand it better.
You never question my love for you,
So I'm writing down the reasons.
Explaining from my heart,
How I love you like the seasons.

It's something like the Wintertime,
When my shoes get filled with snow.
I'll hear your sweet and gentle voice,
And get chills from head to toe.
Your beauty leaves me breathless,
Like the Winter when it begins.
Those eyes cut right through me,
Like the first December winds.

It's something like the Springtime,
When the skies are turning blue.
My heart melts with the ice,
When you tell me "I've missed you."
Your touch is soft and soothing,
Like the rain from April Showers.
You look so perfect in my arms,
Like a bouquet of fresh-picked-flowers.

It's something like the Summertime,
When the birds are taking their que.
All these theories of Global Warming,
But it's just my heart as I think of you.
My feelings are like a Summer breeze,
They will go on and on forever.
And in my eyes you are perfect,
Just like the Summer morning weather.

It's something like the Autumn days,
As leaves flutter to the ground.
They try to imitate your hair,
With their simple shades of brown.
I can love you more than life itself,
I hope I've made that clear.
My love for you will last forever,
Like the seasons in a year.
